  • WHAT IS STANDING HEIGHT, SCAFFOLD HEIGHT AND WORKING HEIGHT FOR SCAFFOLDING?

These terms refer to the different points of measurement for scaffolding platforms.

Standing height refers to the height of the platform itself.

Working height indicates the desired height to be reached.

Scaffold height is the overall height of the structure, measured to the highest handrail.

Scaffolds are usually organised and listed by standing height.

  • HOW DO I KNOW WHICH HEIGHT OF SCAFFOLDING I NEED?

This depends on the working height you need, and the reach of the operator who will be doing the work.

For example, a scaffold with a standing height of 4m could have a working height of 6m, depending on the user. You want to ensure that any scaffolding erected is at a comfortable height for the operator, where they're not constantly stretching or reaching.

Call us today for assistance with hiring the correct scaffold for your job.

  • ARE YOUR SCAFFOLDS SAFE?

Yes—we hold safety in very high regard. All of our equipment is regularly tested and maintained to ensure it meets safety standards and codes. We test and tag all of our scaffolding equipment before hire, so any user can immediately identify it as safe.

Additionally, all of our operators regularly take refresher courses in workplace safety and ways to minimize risks.

  • CAN I HIRE SCAFFOLDING AND ERECT IT MYSELF?

Yes, you can erect scaffolding up to 4m high. Any higher than that is classified ‘high-risk work' due to the increased risk of falls and can only be erected by ticketed workers.

  • HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO INSTALL A SCAFFOLD?

For an average two-storey building, scaffolding can usually be erected within a day. For larger, ongoing or unique projects, this process will take longer.

When we design your scaffolding, we will gain a rough idea of how long installing your scaffolding will take. Call us today for a no-obligation consultation and estimate.
